Select a unit of issue for a new assembly

A unit of measure is also referred to as a unit of issue in FactoryLogix.

When you Create a new assembly using the New Assembly wizard, the default unit of issue is always Pieces. You can specify a different unit of issue by selecting the desired type from the Unit of Issue drop-down as shown in the following illustration.

If you don’t see the appropriate unit of issue in the drop-down, you can add a new unit of issue. See Add a unit of measure for more information.
