Align photoplots between Gerber and CAD layers

Overview

Use this procedure to align photoplot layers with ECAD layers in FactoryLogix Office. This process is typically performed when fiducial or component positions on the photoplot layer don't match those on the ECAD layer.

Prerequisites

• The process must already exist in FactoryLogix Office.

• The ECAD data must be loaded in the Process Tree.

• The photoplot layer must be available in the Layers pane.

Align the photoplot layer

1. Log into FactoryLogix Office.

2. Navigate to Process Engineering.

3. Locate and open the process you want to modify.

4. In the Process Tree, select ECAD.

5. In the Layers pane, confirm that the photoplot layer is checked.

6. Select Align Photoplots on the toolbar.

7. Select the component on the photoplot layer that you are aligning with.

8. In the Layers pane, uncheck the photoplot layer.

9. Select the component on the ECAD layer that you are aligning with.
   
   The photoplot layers are now aligned to the ECAD layer.
