Mirtec AOI database backup and restore

Overview

This article describes how to back up and restore a Mirtec AOI database using the AOI DataCenter application on the Mirtec server.

Back up a Mirtec database

1. Log into the AOI DataCenter on the Mirtec server.

2. Select Utility in the upper-left corner of the Data Center window.

3. Select Backup to open the backup section of the Utility window.

4. Select the database name that corresponds to the time period when the serial number in question was processed (for example, for a unit processed in January 2026, select db202601).

5. Set the backup folder path where the database files will be saved.

6. Select Backup to start the backup.

Restore a Mirtec database

1. Connect to your Mirtec server.

2. Log in to the AOI DataCenter using the default credentials (master / master).

3. Select Utility in the upper-left corner of the Data Center window.

4. Select Restore to open the restore section of the Utility window.

5. Browse to the Mirtec database backup file (*.backup) you want to restore, then select it to begin the restore process.
