Issue
When accessing Line Programming, or when creating a new assembly or process revision by copying an existing assembly with a machine interface, an OLE Automation ACE error occurs. This error affects FactoryLogix 8.253, which only installs ACE 2016, and any earlier versions that do not include ACE 2010 32-bit.
Resolution

On the Application Server, uninstall all installed versions of Microsoft ACE (Access Database Engine) regardless of year or edition.

Install Microsoft 365 ACE 64-bit on the Application Server.
Warning
Microsoft Access Runtime 365 requires internet access on the Application Server during installation. If the server is in an offline or air-gapped environment. Microsoft Access Runtime 365 doesn't have a standalone offline installer. To install it offline on an air-gapped machine, you must first download the installation files on an internet-connected PC using the Office Deployment Tool (ODT), transfer them to the offline device, and then run the ODT to complete the installation: "Internal OLE Automation error (Microsoft Access Database Engine)" exception error
