Your license type determines the features and functionality you can access in the FactoryLogix system. Throughout the documentation, it's important to note that the options you see in the FactoryLogix user interface depend on the license type assigned to you.

License	Description
Factory Office	The Factory Office license is primarily for system administrators who maintain the system and FactoryLogix users responsible for setting up manufacturing processes. The Factory Office license type has three main options: 3DCAD – For use with Mechanical CAD (also referred to as MCAD). ECAD – For use with electronic CAD (also referred to as ECAD). MC programming interfaces – For use with machine programming.
Operational	The Operational license is for shop floor operators and includes access to FactoryLogix Operations, Materials Management, and Analytics licenses.
Viewing	The Viewing license is for shop floor personnel who only need paperless capabilities for work instructions and/or dashboard viewing.
Machine Programmer	The Machine Programmer license replaces FactoryLogix Express licenses and is sold to Aegis OEM machine partners.
