CyberOptics CFX configuration

Overview

Connected Factory Exchange (CFX) settings allow you to connect a CyberOptics 3D AOI system to the Hermes CFX, which facilitates board data exchange. Board status data is sent to the CFX cloud server in real time, providing visibility into how many boards have been processed and whether the system is currently running or stopped.


Note

CFX Settings are available for both inline machine and offline programming modes.

Configure CFX settings

  1. In the Module window, select the SETTINGS module, then select CFX Settings.

  2. Select the Enable CFX check box.

  3. Select the desired machine type (AOI or CMM) from the Machine Type drop-down.

  4. Enter the CFX server network address in the Network Address field.

  5. Enter the CFX exchange path in the Exchange field.

  6. Select Connect.

    The 3D AOI system begins sending status information to the CFX server.
