Reference Designator Expansion

Introduction

This guide details the methods FactoryLogix® uses for reference designator expansion and consolidation.

Note

The hyphen ( – ) character will always try to call an expansion to the references. In this case, the only option is to change it to an underscore ( _ ) however, this also involves changing the references in the ECAD section of FactoryLogix.
